Every time you add fuel, you add millions of tiny contaminants... small enough to be invisible, but big enough to destroy injectors, pumps and profitability. in fact, your engine's #1 enemy - water - condenses right out of the air inside your tank... a fact of nature against which even the most rigorous maintenance program is ineffective.

Water destroys engine components several ways: lack of lubrication by rust, and when it turns to steam... damaging the tips and literally exploding them fight off of close-tolerance injectors. And because water is continually condensing inside your fuel tank, there's no way to keep it out. There's no better way to take it out than Racor.

Cost-Effective Visual Inspection
See-thru collection bowls allow a water-in-fuel condition to be immediately visible. Closed spin-on cans waste expensive fuel and labor because it's impossible to check for water without actually opening the drain or removing the can from the mounting head.
High Capacity
Racor Fuel Filter/Water Separators are sized for every engine's fuel flow rate. The filter/separators' see-thru bowls provide the capacity needed to collect free and emulsified water and larger solid contaminants. More time between drain intervals means reduced maintenance costs.

Environmentally Friendly
Engineered polymer bowls are reusable, impact-resistant and virtually indestructible. When it’s time for service, only the filter element is replaced - the see-thru bowl and drain valve assembly are reused. The long life-cycle of the bowl saves money and reduces the environmental impact through disposal of less material. Use metal bowl versions for inspected or commercial vessels.

See-thru bowls provide connection ports for upgrades which enhance engine performance and reliability. Powerful in-bowl heaters can be added to improve operation in colder climates and electronic sensors alert the operator to drain water in the bowl.

Advanced polymer technology means bowls will not deteriorate from water collection, alcohol-blended fuels, exposure to harsh additives or UV light. Unseen water laying in sealed cans cause them to rust and corrode or worse yet, increase in level and pass through.

With the Racor Models 75/B32016 and 75/B32009, a simple turn of the integral handle puts a clean filter in service when the on-line filter gets dirty so engines can keep operating. Maximum fuel flow is 40 and 120 gph, respectively, with both filters on-line (or one-half maximum fuel flow with one filter on-line). Three micron ratings can be specified and an optional metal bowl is available for severe service applications.

Racor Coolant Treatment is a combination corrosion inhibitor and iron oxide/scale dispersant. Its unique formulation protects all types of metals, including aluminum, in the cooling system
